Luke finished his Championship in three weekends with 5 majors! Luke finished his championship so fast, he barely learned to be a show dog. He is shown below finishing under Breeder/Judge Kathryn Hamilton.
We flew him to Lebanon, TN in October 2005 to attend the Australian Cattle Dog National Specialty. He was awarded 3rd in Puppy sweeps, 4th in a very large and competitive Bred-By Exhibitor class and he assisted his brother "Kidd" to a 2nd place Stud Dog win for his dad "Max".

Luke was a bear for Halloween. I caught the bug on dressing up my dogs from rooming with Ingrid one year in Portland.
Luke's latest adventure is Agility! We started him in Intro classes in March which he picked up super fast! So he was able to graduate and start Intermediate classes the end of May. I begged and pleaded with the instructor to let me advance on to Novice Prep in August to start preparing for competition, and she agreed with some private sessions. So onto Novice Prep and private sessions once a week, started preparing the National. Luke ended up getting one leg to his Novice Preferred title and First place in his class at the October 2006 National Specialty. Since that time, he has attained his Novice Agility Title as well as a leg to his Jumpers title.
